I received a  Bachelor's degree in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University. I have been an R.N. for 18 years with clinical experience in many hospital and clinical settings. Even now, I continue to work as a nurse in Outpatient Surgery at River Parish Hospital. I am also certified as a First Responder Instructor through the National Bureau of EMS. I am in my 6th year of teaching the Allied Health program and plan to continue sharing the knowledge I have gained with students interested in pursuing a career in healthcare. I have lived in St. James Parish for the past 17 years with my husband and 5 children.
